Ahhhhhhh...what a day! Woke up with an episode of vertigo. Yes, I get it sometimes and oh dear Lort it is awful! Sooooo, I chilled today but a day in the life of Melissa is never fully complete. See, I'm a mom to an almost 21 year old daughter and to a 14 year old son. Welll, the son is having a hard time in school. I got an email from one of his teachers at the end of the day. I had my fingers crossed that today must have been a good day cause NO emails....ha....spoke too soon. Just the usual...disruptive in class, socializing, trying to be the class clown. Contemplating writing a book on "School Days for Austin". It's kinda like looking in the mirror. Do they make manuals for teenage boys? If so, where can I get one? For the love of all that is in me, I just want him to pass 8th grade and move on. I shall keep praying....really hard!

My first post! I love this picture! I think it speaks volume to me and reminds me to always be the Sunflower...to know my roots and be hard to miss in a room! Where I don't like to be the center of attention, cause I'm not a spotlight person, I want people to enjoy my company while I'm in the room. So, here's to all you beautiful Sunflowers!
